Wear it differently
The clothes were always there. Riff finds the combinations you stopped seeing.
Why Riff, specifically
“Should I buy this?”
Photograph the piece you're holding. Riff checks it against everything you own and answers like a brutally honest friend:
Skip it.
You own two blue overshirts within a shade of this one — and it pairs with less of your closet than either.
Sometimes it says buy. Then it shows you five outfits the new piece unlocks.
Lists that fit the actual bag.
Riff knows your suitcase's size, checks the weather where you're going, and packs outfits — not a pile of maybes.

Questions, answered
Yes — Riff is free while in beta. The core closet, outfit styling and packing tools stay free; a paid Plus tier with the heaviest AI features (avatar salon, Personal Shopper) may come later.
No. Riff is a web app that installs straight from the browser: open it in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen. It runs full-screen like a native app on iPhone and Android.
Yes. Your photos live in private storage only you can access. Body photos can be deleted at any time from your account, and nothing you upload is used for anything except your own closet.
About one photo per piece — the AI tags the category, colors, fabric and formality automatically, so a 40-piece closet takes roughly an evening.
No — try-on renders are AI visualizations, clearly labeled as such. They're great for judging style and color on you, but drape and fit are approximate, not a tailor's mirror.
Log your actual suitcase or travel bag and Riff checks the destination weather, builds an outfit-aware packing list sized to what genuinely fits in that bag, and gives you a tick-off checklist.
Straight about the AI
Tags are AI guesses you can edit. Try-on renders are visualizations, not mirrors — and they're labeled. Your photos stay private, body photos are deletable any time, and nothing you shoot is used for anything except your own closet.
